The 848 is a cool bike but I’d advise against it if you want to ride at a FAST pace on track. The stock chasis is garbage is frustrating and the gearing is confusing at best. It NEEDS a set of adjustable triples and an adjustable swingarm linkage.
I considered racing one until I did some research.

Not even in the same league :). But the sound of a triumph triple is mesmerizing
